Many errands got run today.

Not a lot of internet time today simply because we were running errands most of the day.

One thing I wanted to let you know about. The MLB has released the following statement:
    2020 Season Update
The regular season is anticipated to begin on July 23-24.

MLB has submitted a proposed 60-game schedule to the MLBPA to review. It has not yet been finalized.

To limit travel distances, teams would play a majority of games against their division opponents (40, or 10 against each division opponent) and the rest against their geographic counterpart in the other league (in other words, AL East vs. NL East, AL Central vs. NL Central, AL West vs. NL West).
So we have that to look forward to.

It took me more than a few minutes to remember that Ron Roenicke is the manager of the Red Sox and Alex Cora is considered persona non grata.

I hope Roenicke manages as well as Cora did because those guys played their heart out for Cora. Even if he was the mastermind behind the "interesting method" the Astros had in place to let the batter know what the pitcher was going to throw, he was a hell of a manager.

First hockey, then game 4 of the 2018 World Series tonight.
